Playing Tips Book Cover

This was painted to be the front cover, back cover and spine of a playing tips booklet cover-mount, but on which magazine it was used and when has been lost in time… at least since 1993.

This was an interesting challenge – how to portray the hero Casey, who can use masks to change into different characters in order to use different abilities to avoercome the challenges he must face. It appeared on the cover of Sega Force magazine #4.

One of several illustrations for the Hamlyn Book of Horror, painted in 1979. In the 16th century, Sawney Bean, his wife and incenstuous family of sons, daughters and grandchildren murdered and ate many victims caught in the wilds of Ayrshire.
